Mission Trip – Costa Rica, Guatemala & Dominican Republic (Feb 2021)
The initial group is conformed by Dale, Denise, Taylor and Erick.
The first country will be Costa Rica. Landing in San José on February 9th at 8pm, we will head to the mountains in Cedral of Acosta. We will be conducting an Inductive Bible Study (IBS) workshop and Bible Study with the local Calvary Chapel Church: Frutos de Amor (Fruits of Love) to the community of Acosta.
On Saturday 13th , we will travel to Heredia (next to San José) and teach the Sunday’s Service of Ministerio Sela Calvary Chapel.
Next Day we will prepare our travel to Guanacaste area, in the coast. We will be teaching in two local Calvary Chapel in Liberia and Tamarindo. We will be teaching during the afternoon and night to the communities. During the day, a evangelistic work will be performed in small church groups and locals.
We will be in the area for 3 days. During the stay in this area, we will need to get tested for Covid-19 in order to travel to Guatemala, the second country of three in this trip.
Traveling on the 19th, we will head to Guatemala City and drive directly to Panajachel. We will be with the local Calvary Chapel. From the 20th to 24th we will be teaching to a women group, local Sunday’s Service and IBS in a Pastors and Leaders Conference with the local churches and community.
Then we will head to Antigua Guatemala. From the 25th through 28th we will be teaching and fellowshipping with Calvary Chapel Antigua and the local Bible Institute. Dale will teach on the Sunday’s service also.
March 1st. The group will change and Erick will be back in Hamilton. The rest of team will meet in Santiago, Dominican Republic: Our last missions destination. The group will be then: Dale, Denise, Taylor, Bill and Alta.
During this day, a fast and changing commute will be held. From Guatemala, we will flight to Panamá, then Miami and finally Dominican Republic.
We will conduct the IBS with smalls groups in the local community of Santiago during the whole visit. During the first days, the group will visit the Women Prison Rafey. We will share a Bible Study and evangelism with the women in the facility.
On Friday 5th, the group will head to Barahona. We will meet with a local Calvary Chapel and gather with the local community to study. Dale will be teaching the Sunday’s Service also.
On Monday 8th, the group will go back to Santiago and finish with the IBS groups and reach-out work.
The group will be flighting back on Thursday 11th to USA.
