The Stewarts
Jeff and Sonja Stewart started with a prayer that the churches in France would be lovingly effective in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris (2015). Through prayer and fasting, the Stewarts put the prayers to action, with Jeff and two others (Andy Ziesemer and Rick Morgan) going to Paris in Nov 2015. During their time in France, Jeff and his friends ascended the Eiffel Tower to pray over the city of Paris. Four days later Paris was rocked by another tragic attack, this strike, at the Bataclan theatre and surrounding area. The call was confirmed, and Jeff returned with his wife Sonja and their two children in June 2016 to pray together about personally serving as missionaries and church-planters in France.
After spending a month in France and connecting with Calvary Chapel Paris pastor Mike Dente and his family, the Stewarts were certain of God’s call. They began making preparations to move to France and serve full time. Jeff, Sonja and their kids are currently studying the French language and culture, and plan on departing for France in early June.
They are currently living in the city of Vernon, in the Normandie region of France. Alongside others they are seeking to make Jesus known through worship, fellowship and the Word of God. Join us in support and prayer for them as they seek the Lord in bringing a new revival to France.
