Galatians 5:13-15:

[13]  For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 

[14]  For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 

[15]  But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

Four purposes of God’s calling us to freedom: 

  1. To fight against our flesh, 
  2. To serve others as unto Christ, 
  3. To work out God’s moral law, and 
  4. To keep from hurting others. 

Relating To Verse 13:

1 Peter 2:16

Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
